Our Fast Tread® stairs are shop drawn and custom manufactured in our Australian manufacturing facility to your exact reading levels and widths, reducing the potential for error and increasing installation speed.
Easy to order, shop drawn based on your architect’s and engineer’s specifications
Made in Australia, delivered with in-built steel reinforcing, add Safe-T-Tread™ reusable tread system for instant upper level access before stairs have been core filled.
Manufactured to BCA requirements, preinstalled handrails give fall protection once filled with concrete
Finished with only a single concrete pour, installation requires less propping than conventional framework
Galvanised stringers and risers provide durable surfaces without the need to coat, but are a suitable substrate for painting, tiling or carpet
Fast Tread® stairs with solid stringers are ideal for fire stairs as they can have handrails already attached for immediate edge protection once filled with concrete and are BCA compliant. They speed up the installation of any fire stairs including egress stairs, fire isolated stairs and scissor stairs.
Where a more aesthetic finish is required, Fast Tread® stairs with profile cut stringers are ideal. The stringers are cut to the profile of the risers, customised to suit any project and making it easier for finishing with tiles, carpet, vinyl, timber or paint.
To achieve BCA/NCC & Australian Standard compliance, hand rails are required on one or both sides of your Fast Tread® stairs, depending on their design. We offer four options to meet requirements for fire isolated and main access stairways. All handrails are manufactured in galvanised tubular hollow section.
