How is Surefit™ made & installed
We believe trust is built through reliability, integrity, and experience. That’s why we prioritise accuracy and quality at every stage of the process. Here’s a step-by-step guide to the construction and installation of your SureFit™ frames:
Shop Drawings & Scheduling
We create precise shop drawings for your SureFit™ frames based on your door schedule specifications.
Production
Manufactured to the millimetre, your door frames are built to match the shop drawings, ensuring they are ready when you need them.
Delivery
Frames are delivered directly to your site or yard, each clearly labelled with its door ID for easy identification.
Frame Installation
Installation is carried out by others, using the appropriate fixing method for your specific wall application.
Backfilling
For fire-rated doors, backfilling must be completed before or during installation, following approved methods for your chosen application. Backfilling is completed by others.
Door Installation
Doors are installed onsite by the door installer.
Fire Certification
Our team has experience and can offer compliance reviews if requested.
Tagging
Tags can be provided by SureFit™ and installed by others, upon request at project commencement.
Hardware preparation
We offer custom cutouts in your door frames to accommodate a wide range of hardware options.
While some cutouts can be made onsite by security contractors, we recommend CNC machining during frame manufacturing. This ensures higher precision, saves time, and reduces costs.
When ordering a door frame with hardware cutouts, please provide the make and model number of your hardware so we can tailor the preparation to your needs.
