The NSW Government has committed to providing world-class care for people in rural communities by leading the expansion of regional health assets throughout NSW. The Griffith Base Hospital Redevelopment has now topped out and is set to revitalise health services in the Riverina region of NSW, addressing urgent priorities in service needs, access to ambulatory care and chair-based services, and will improve the experience of patients, visitors and carers.
Griffith Base Hospital Redevelopment is the second largest hospital within the Murrumbidgee Local Health District. Once completed, the purpose-build Clinical Services Building will provide acute medical, surgical, maternity, pediatric and sub-acute inpatient services, as well as emergency and critical care, medical imaging and a range of ambulatory, outpatient and community health services.
ADCO is the principal contractor for the new Clinical Services Building, and they have appointed Trans-Formwork as the formwork subcontractor for the project. Trans-Formwork has engaged FTI Group for the supply of galvanised metal handrails and BlueDeck Composite™ metal decking formwork which is installed throughout the new build as the suspended concrete slabs.
