Works have commenced at Woolworths’ new Leppington Village Shopping Centre in Leppington, NSW. Leppington is set to become one of the region’s busiest areas in the coming years with the new Badgery’s Creek airport under construction close by, and this new shopping centre is underway to cater to these future residents. There’ll be a state-of-the-art Woolworths supermarket with over 20 specialty retail stores including restaurants and cafes which will bring over 200 ongoing jobs once complete.

Mainbrace Constructions are building the new shopping centre and have given the formwork package to Formtec Group. Formtec has engaged FTI Group in the supply of concrete stairs and handrails throughout the building. Fast Tread® stairs will be featured as the standard circulation stairs in the fire shaft with single-rail and vertical picket handrails due to the public access requirements.
